There will be approximately one hour and fifteen minutes of instruction followed by open practice. Come alone, with a partner, or with a group—all are welcome.

In this workshop we will cover:

-Recognizing major muscle groups in the neck, shoulders, and back

-Feeling and identifying different kinds of muscle knots and tension

-Manipulating and releasing different kinds of knots and tension with your thumbs, palms, elbows, and forearms

-Maintaining stamina over the course of a massage for bodies of all sizes

-Negotiating and massage safety
