Cheri Reeder’s new 3 series course, THE 8 LAYERS OF TOUCH may be just the feast of connection delights you’ve been craving!

After a long dry spell, many of us are touch starved or may even want a refresher course on the subject at hand. This class offers a very unique hands-on experience with detailed explanations, expert guidance and demonstrations to tempt your senses with glee and delight!

You may choose to participate as a couple and explore only with your partner. Or, for the more adventurous and single peeps, you may choose to experience a variety of different touch styles and body types. Everyone will get the opportunity to experience each layer of touch through giving and receiving. We will practice the rules of consent and boundaries as we expand our toolbox and develop new skills and will honor with joy everyone's yes, and no!

The class will be 3 hours long with an opening circle, sharing opportunities between each layer, a nutrition break and a closing circle.

This class is great for people who wish they knew massage -and- bodywork professionals alike. Understand how to transform pain into bliss, touch someone’s soul, or how to incorporate deep connection into their sensual life! It is also for those who want to experience how to fully receive that desired connection from others. Touch goes both ways!

We will start the event off with some guided communication games so everyone gets to know each other and feel comfortable with each other in the room. 

This will be followed by guided teachings and practices:

• Weave together movement, breath, sound, and intention to be “more in your body” and present.
• Learn what it means to share conscious touch.
• Incorporate total awareness, reverence, and honor to develop heart-centered touch.
• Re-pattern old codes of fear, rejection, and trauma in the body and bring about openness, energy flow, and healing.
• Feel your energetic body and experience more sensation and pleasure.
• Tap into the natural elements of life to help you open.
• Experience how sensual touch is healing.
• Expand your ability to touch beyond the skin.

Space is limited to 24 people to allow for plenty of one-on-one instructional support, and opportunities for questions and sharing. 

This class “Sensual Touch” is part of a 3 class series.

“Basic Necessities of Touch” is a prerequisite for Class #2 “Sensual Touch”, and will be offered on August 12th. Class #3 “Healing Touch Certification” to be announced!

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:

~ Cheri Reeder has 30+ years experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in Psychology and Holistic Health Medicine.  She is a published author and community leader with a passion for teaching and leading transformational retreats.  She has lectured at local and national college campuses on the subjects of Natural Healing Arts & Human Sexuality, but her true calling is in the private sector where she uses her lifetime of wisdom and experience in the world of polyamory and open relating to help her clients with personal relationship health, intimacy and communication skills.   

She has also appeared on local and national news, as well as Showtime’s Original show Polyamory: Married & Dating. 

In addition she teaches certification courses in the healing arts of reflexology, hypnotherapy, reiki, and quantum healing, and combines her experience in functional medicine, Shamanism, Yoga and Tantra to bring a well rounded mind, body approach of east meets west philosophies.

~ JJ Brawley is a Somatic Bodyworker, Tantra Teacher, Certified Life Coach, Licensed Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Master NLP Practitioner who has been in the world of transformational work since 2003.  Also an ISTA Graduate and 5 Elements Tibetan Tantra Practitioner he has been hosting and organizing events in the sex positive, lifestyle, and kink communities for 20+ years.
