Turn up the heat with this wax play workshop!

About this event

Wax play is a type of sensation play that explores the body's reaction to suspense, extreme heat, short bursts of stimulation, and sensory deprivation. This playful art has been known to create some of the most intense sexual scenes! It is important to understand safety, and the basics of sensory experiences before exploring wax play.

Violet will guide the class, sharing tips, tools, and exercises for self or partnered wax play. Then for the last 30 minutes participants will be guided to explore wax play with a partner, or on your own!

You'll learn:

  • What is wax play?
  • What the body feels when engaging in wax play
  • What skin safe candles to buy
  • How to intensify the experience with heat, tension, or incorporating power dynamics
  • How to ensure your safety when engaging in this type of play

What you need to bring:

Please come along with a lover or a friend, someone you feel comfortable exploring with. In person ticket orders are set to a minimum of two (and maximum of 3) to ensure everyone has a partner to practice with.

🪔🕯Candles and materials will be provided at the workshop for you to take home and will be factored into the cost of the ticket 🪔🕯

If you're practicing on yourself or don't want to come to Hacienda Studio, you can get digital livestream access and follow along at home.
