Are you new to yoga? Have you always wanted to try yoga but are not sure where to start? Have you ever thought “I’m not flexible enough to do yoga” or felt intimidated by all the fancy studios, pretzel like poses and yoga lingo?
Then come refresh and recenter after a weekend of kinky fun with this Beginner’s Yoga Class at 910WeHo! There’s something for everyone, beginner and seasoned yogi alike! We will move through gentle vinyasa sequences and basic standing poses ending with a relaxing meditation. This is the perfect class to begin your yoga journey or get reacquainted with your yoga mat if you haven’t been to class in a while. Best of all, it’s at the dungeon! All you need to bring is your yoga mat!
blushangel has been practicing yoga for over a decade since she first fell in love with it at a small studio in Detroit, MI. She tried yoga as an alternative to other forms of high impact exercise while recovering from multiple surgeries due to endometriosis, vulvodynia and chronic pelvic pain, and yoga has remained an integral part of her healing journey both physically and spiritually. When blushangel embarked on her BDSM journey in 2016, she quickly discovered how much her yoga practice informed and complimented her path in BDSM. Yoga helps her prepare for the self-awareness, body-awareness and physical stamina often needed for heavy impact play, rope bottoming and submission. As someone who still deals with chronic illness and chronic pain, blushangel understands the need for inclusive spaces in both the yoga and BDSM communities. Therefore, blushangel’s mission is to bring yoga to the kink/BDSM community and make it more accessible to anyone who wishes to practice. blushangel completed her yoga teacher training at the Dan Ward School of Yoga in Santa Monica in 2019 and is thrilled to finally be bringing classes to the Los Angeles Kink Community at 910WeHo.
